All volunteers to wear official shirt and/or safety vest. Please return to Stage Manager for use next year
All volunteers to attend the Health & Safety briefing prior to event, and receive a copy of the Health & Safety Document including the reporting forms
Please note the other people that may be milling around there would include the four drink station folk; waiting perhaps for instruction from Race Director. The two time keepers, (they report to Peter), and perhaps the ambulance folk as they can’t go down on to the beach but do follow the cyclists
Support crew may ask how long it takes to get to the mountain bike transition at Makarau. They should be advised that it takes 30 mins travelling within legal speeds. They do not need to rush, they will easily beat their competitor and that Police are in attendance
